Each year the Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation donates to the UCF Student Physical Therapy Association (SPTA) and the UCF Student Athletic Trainers’ Organization (SATO).

During the two large educational seminars the Foundation hosts (the Cutting Edge Concepts in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine seminar and the Orthopaedic Update for Allied Healthcare Professions seminar), a $2,500 check is presented to the SPTA and SATO, respectively.

To date, more than $50,000 has been donated for the two programs since the seminars’ inception. 

A portion of the donation is earmarked for a scholarship benefiting an outstanding UCF student majoring in Athletic Training or physical therapy.
