[The Sanford Herald] Family Fitness Festival Coming to Sanford

The Sanford Herald featured an editorial on our Foundation’s 3rd Annual Family Fitness Fest.

The Family Fitness Fest is a FREE indoor community event. Participants will improve strength and agility levels through different fitness activities and have the chance to compete in unique, fun, physical challenges.

Our Foundation President, Randy S. Schwartzberg, M.D., added, “The Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation Annual Family Fitness Fest is our signature event that gives us great pride. We dub this event the largest workout for kids in central Florida. This fun-filled event for kids is commensurate with our mission to help lesser privileged kids participate in organized sports. In addition to creating awareness for the need to help these kids get into sports, we will be raising funds and partnering with numerous community groups to actually sign up a huge number of these kids for sports at the event. We expect a large turnout and an action-packed morning to remember.”
