Physicals and Concussion Testing a Success for East Orlando Youth Athletes
The 501(c)(3) Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation performed approximately 150 physicals on June 11 for youth athletes of the East Orlando Junior Predators and Faith Christian Academy. At the event, Randy S. Schwartzberg, M.D., Bryan L. Reuss, M.D., Bradd G. Burkhart, M.D., and Lynn Tuller, PA-C, examined each athlete, ultimately providing them with clearance to participate in their sport.
Additional support was provided by volunteers from SST Rehabilitation, MedTech MA Students, UCF Student Athletic Trainers, and many of the East Orlando Junior Predators parents and coaches. The mobile concussion testing company Baseline Testing Express also conducted approximately 50 baseline concussion tests for the athletes.
Proceeds from the day benefit the East Orlando Junior Predators and Faith Christian Academy organizations.
