Orthopaedic Updated for Allied Healthcare Professionals
The Orthopaedic Update for Allied Healthcare Professions seminar is a continuing education program for allied healthcare professionals hosted by the Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation. This one-day program provides the most up-to-date information and education on orthopaedics and sports medicine topics.
Each year, the event welcomes more than 650 attendees with many eligible to earn affordable continuing education units (CEUs) in their respective fields.
The day of the seminar, a $2,500 check is awarded annually to the UCF Student Athletic Trainers’ Organization (SATO).
The remaining proceeds of the event go toward the Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation’s Give Kids Sports initiative helping at-risk children participate in quality youth sports programs that foster sportsmanship, confidence, discipline, teamwork and injury prevention.
