Michael D. McCleary, M.D., Discusses How to Prevent Golf Injuries This Season with the PGA
Michael D. McCleary, M.D., was featured in an article with the PGA where he discussed how to prevent golf injuries this season.
“Overuse injuries are the most common,” says Dr. McCleary. “Pain in the lower back (muscle strains, disc injuries), hip, knee (especially meniscus injuries), elbow (“golfer’s elbow,” which involves overuse of the tendons near the elbow), wrist (tendinitis), and shoulder (including rotator cuff injuries) are all problems golfers experience.”
