Dr. Schwartzberg Receives WKMG News 6 Getting Results Award
Each week, WKMG News 6 anchor Matt Austin features a Central Floridian who goes above and beyond to make our community better. This week, Randy S. Schwartzberg, M.D., was the proud recipient of the Getting Results Award and was recognized by WKMG as an individual contributing to make the community a better place.
To be considered for the award, WKMG asks viewers to nominate someone they know who stands out as an inspiration for others.

The goal of the Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation is to provide injury prevention education and help local children participate in quality sports programs. Since its creation, the foundation has raised $1.4 million dollars to promote sports programs that foster sportsmanship, confidence, leadership, teamwork, and discipline. Last year alone the foundation sent more than 200 children to summer sports camps.
