Now Accepting Applications for the 2025 Chris Payer Honorary Sports Medicine Scholarship
The Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation is proud to announce that applications are now being accepted for the Chris Payer Honorary Sports Medicine Scholarship.
This year, the Foundation will award one $2,500 scholarship to a deserving Seminole County high school student. To be eligible, applicants must participate in their high school’s athletic training and education activities and plan to pursue a sports medicine-related career.
Student applicants will be required to complete an application that includes:
- High school transcripts
- Standardized test scores
- Financial need information
- Letters of recommendation
- A brief essay discussing their interests in athletic training and sports medicine.
About the Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation
The Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation remains dedicated to supporting Central Florida youth through initiatives like the Give Kids Sports program, promoting active and engaged lifestyles. Since 2012, the Foundation has raised $1.3 million to provide injury prevention education and access to quality youth sports programs.
Deadline to submit the completed application and ALL supporting documents is April 27th at midnight.
